Appointment fees at Capital Psychology Clinic depend on which psychologist you wish to see at our practice and the type of service required. Please contact our friendly reception to discuss your needs and the associated fees.
Rebates
You do not need a referral to see one of our psychologists at Capital Psychology Clinic. However, all of our psychologists are registered with Medicare. A Mental Health Care Plan or a Primary Enhanced Care Plan, for yourself, or your child, from your GP or Paediatrician will allow you to claim a rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Please bring your referral with you to your first appointment in order to receive a rebate. Please note we do not offer bulk billing services.
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate. Your provider and level of cover will determine how much you can claim for psychological services. You may claim either a private health insurance rebate, or Medicare rebate, not both.
To receive a Medicare rebate for an Autism Assessment, a referral must be made by your Paediatrician. The referral must request an Autism Assessment.
NDIS
Capital Psychology Clinic psychologists are not providers for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), however you can choose to self manage your package, or self manage the psychology portion of your package. Doing so will enable you to see any of our psychologists at the clinic.
You will be billed for your session and then you may claim back through your NDIS funding package.
Please bring a copy of your NDIS report/goals if you have one, to your first appointment.
Cancellation Policy
